House raids in Ceylanpınar: 2 in custody

URFA (DİHA) - Police carried out house raids in Ceylanpınar border district and detained DTK delegate Ayşe Bozan and Ahmet Özgür Dağ.

Turkish special operations teams and police carried out simultaneous house raids in Ceylanpınar district of Urfa early in the morning. The house of locals have been searched comprehensively by the police teams.

In the wake of raids, police took DTK (Democratic Society Congress) delegate Ayşe Bozan and citizen named Ahmet Özgür Dağ into custody. While the motive behind the custody is unknown, the detainees have been brought to the Urfa provincal police headquarters.
