Party of women, HDP, at parliament 2015-06-08 10:10:32 NEWS DESK (DİHA) - Although election results are not final, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) looks to be sending 31 women candidates to Parliament. The party ran a 48% women list, according to its principle of gender parity. The women representatives range from defenders of headscarf rights to socialists and storied feminists to veterans of the Kurdish women's struggle.
