Tens of thousands of labourers marching towards Square Sihhiye in Ankara 2014-12-13 13:02:09 ANKARA (DİHA) - Tens of thousands of labourers are marching against 2015 budget towards Square Sihhiye in Ankara within the pioneering of KESK and DİSK. Labourers are holding a rally within the pioneering of KESK (Confederation of Public Workers' Unions) and DİSK (Confederation of Revolutionary Workers' Unions) against the 2015 budget under the motto of "Populist budget, democratic Turkey against budget of war, poverty and looting". Tens of thousands of labourers came together at Ankara Train Station and danced halays accompanied by drum and horn. The labourers have demanded an egalitarian budget through their placards and banners. They opened the placard reading "Budget for people, Democratic Turkey" and have held a march towards Square Sihhiye. KESK General Co-chairs Lami Özgen and Şaziye Köse, DİSK General Chair Kani Beko, MPs and union leaders also joined in the march. In the wake of march, the labourers will hold a rally at the square.
